Grady - 18 Months Old

At 18 months old, Grady...

• Weighs 24 lbs. 15 oz. (about 50%)
• Is 33.5 inches tall (about 90%)
• Wears 18 month & 2T clothes
• Wears size 4 diapers during the day and size 5 diapers at night
• Has 12 teeth, with 13 & 14 about to cut through any day
• Goes to bed at 8 pm and wakes up at a different time almost every day.  Some days it's 7 am, other days it's 9 am.  Some nights he'll wake up once, other nights he sleeps through.  Very hit or miss.
• Takes 1 nap anywhere from 11 am to 2 pm, depending on when he wakes up that day.
• Is a truly terrible eater.  He would eat snacks all day long, but will not eat a single vegetable and is incredibly picky.  His favorite foods are bananas, peanut butter and jelly english muffins, watermelon, Goldfish, peanut butter Ritz crackers, greek yogurt, grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese sticks and just about any fruit.
• Loves Phil so much and is always trying to hug him and give him kisses.
• Loves tee-ball.  He is unbelievably good at hitting the ball off the stand.  He can hit the ball from our living room to the front door.  
• Loves to put on everyone's shoes and walk around.
• Loves to be chased with his lawn mower or toy dog from the front door to the garage door and back again.  Over and over and over and over and over.......
• LOVES to go outside.  He would stay outside all day if he could.  When we go out for a walk or to play and try to start walking inside, he pulls us the other way and throws a holy fit when we go inside.
• Loves to take Phil for walks, but he has to hold the right leash, so we give him that leash and we hold the other leash.
• He wants to try and do everything himself first.  If he tries and can't do something, he'll bring it over to me for help.
• Loves cell phones and TV remotes, but only if they have the batteries in them.  He will take the back off to make sure they are there.  
• Loves his roller coaster.  He loves to ride on it and also run up and down it.
• Loves to give kisses and hugs.
• Is getting better at playing on his own and will actually sit on the couch and cuddle for short periods of time.  Up until a month or two ago, he wouldn't sit still for more than about 2 seconds.
• Loves to put all of the pillows and blankets from the couches all around himself like a little fort.
• Is a magnet to just about everything he is not supposed to do.
• Dances whenever a good song comes on TV.
• Knows where and will point to almost all of his body parts.
• Can point out most common items in his picture books.
• Is the most incredible little boy in the whole world!!!
